HAPPINESS.

The great thing about blogging is that you can blog about anything, beauty, fashion, recipes, you name it. You can blog about your feelings, what you've seen , what to you want to see... whatever floats your boat that week. Well as of late, I've been happy, very happy. There's nothing specific that's made me happy, there isn't a specific event, a specific purchase, specific person (lol #singleforlife) I'm just happy.
There's a weird feeling surrounding contentness, because you can be so high on life one minute then the smallest thing brings you down. I'm in no way trying to convey that I'm living the perfect life and by no way have lived a perfect life - I've had enough shit happen to me over the past few years, trust me. But as of late, I've come to realise a happy life isn't give to you, you make your life happy. There are some seriously ill/ unlucky people out there that cannot live a life they want. Well, I'm a lucky person to be so privileged to have a home, a loving family and friends that make me belly laugh.
It's these small things that I've realised are what make the world go round.

Over the past few months my life has changed, not massively but, I've finished my A-levels (now, that's what you call an unhappy time) and started a new job. An actual office working job and I feel I've grown so much and learnt so much about life in such a small period of 4 months its untrue.
The people I work with are genuinely the nicest, funniest people I've met, ok yes they're all 30 years older than me (literally) but I'm probably not wrong in saying they'd be nicer then working with people my own age...
Plus, there's this blogging thing, yes I have fallen victim into getting annoyed at small things, 'I don't understand emails', 'What the fuck do I blog about this week' 'omg I don't understand this camera'
But, the simplest of things of receiving a nice comment can just completely turn your evening around - obviously how could I not mention my blogging bestie Lily, who with every comment or tweet makes me smile from ear to ear, no better feeling then having a blogging sidekick to lift you with simple, nice words! - (plus her blog is an absolute delight for the eyes; go click now)

So yes, as blogging is basically an online journal, here's entry number #156: February 19th 2016 - I'm happy, very happy at the moment. Here's to more smiles and less tear, a lot less tears.

  1. Girl ya make me blush ;) Everyone I work with is a lot older than me as well haha and I definitely feel like young people can be more bitchy but I don't really have a lot in common with these people... (they all have kids and husbands etc (#single4life)) but they're all still really lovely! And you're so right in saying that we all have so much to be thankful for - it's so true :) xxxx

  2. You're absolutely right, no one is given a happy life but we can make it a happy life ourselves! And I actually really enjoy with people who are older than me, they got so many stories to tell and I feel like I can learn a lot from them. And comments are just the best thing about blogging! ;) xx

  3. I love these posts. I love that someone's blog is just whatever they want to write about. Sometimes we don't always want to write about foundation but just anything and everything (sometimes these are even my favourite to read!) #singleforlife is really the hashtag of my life too but I know what you mean by happiness not having to be down to anything sometimes it just arrives and it feels good :) Loved this post, made me feel happy too! xx
