Hello There

 ~ Hello, It's Me ~

You'd be lying if you say you didn't sing Adele when you read that then HAHA.
Anyway, I thought I'd do a little post today about, well, me, a few facts about yours truly, because I feel I bang on about clothes, style and things I've gotten up to, but you may not really know anything about me. I'm a bit of a nosey person and love to read these 'Random Facts About Me' posts/videos, so here's my two pence...
1) I'm fluent in 2 languages and currently taking Spanish lessons - I can (obviously) speak English, but I also am fluent in Welsh. In my job, I'd say about  90% of the time I'm speaking Welsh and usually (although I can't tell myself) people say I have a strong Welsh accent! - BUT because I'm from North Wales my accent is literally the polar opposite to the South Wales accent - no I don't  sound ANYTHING like the cast of Gavin and Stacey!

2) I'm a serial recycler, seriously, everything in my house is put in the recycling bin. It actually makes me cringe if I have to but an empty plastic bottle in the bin - well someone has to look after the planet don't they?!??! HAHA

3) I'm 5ft 8" which is sort of pretty tall, but I'm so used to the fact I dwarf everyone when I wear heels that I don't really care anymore.. It's just annoying when you have buy jeans or legging, they are just never long enough!

4) I have no idea what I'm doing in life. I work at a double glazing company in the office and actually really love it. But I have actually no idea what I 'actually' want to do, for now I go to work and come home happy and spend my wages on ridiculously expensive shoes... and blog in every spare minute I have, life isn't too bad for someone with no actual real goal in life.. I'm just riding the wave at the moment hahaha

5) I still cuddle a teddy when I sleep. Yeah, at 19 years old I still have a comfort teddy, well bunny actually. I've had him since I was a few months old and continue to sniff his left cheek.. please don't laugh!! - To be honest, everyone has some kind of comforter still that reminds them of home, and my bunny (pronounced bwni, lol welsh pronunciations) is just that - and I wonder why I'm still single HA!!

  1. Ahhh wow I'm so jealous that you're fluent in two languages!! I always joke that I can speak American fluently but I don't think that counts ;) I did A level French so I'd say I can speak it to a fairly good standard but in no way am I fluent. Being bilingual is literally my biggest dream ever tbh.
And in terms of height, 5"8 isn't that tall! I'm 5"5 and feel like a midget half the time hahaha xxx (also I love posts like this because I'm super nosy too!)

  2. Ahhh I'd love to be fluent in 2 languages! I speak a little French, Spanish, Italian and Swedish, but I'm too all over the place with it! That's a crazy skill you've got! And GIRL I am a serial recycler too, I don't know why more people aren't! It feels so good to know I'm not the only one thinking about our planet, ha! We should set up a superhero team #teamrecycle ;)
This was such a fun post, I loved it!

    1. My English and Welsh are definitely all up to scratch, but my Spanish is definitely a work in progress, hopefully one day I can say I'm fluent in three languages! - #teamrecycle I'm all for this superhero team, seriously how can people just but an empty bottle in the bin?!

  3. Love these posts when you can get to know someone a bit more! I'm actually also just about to brush up on my Spanish some more when I get back to uni, but that's amazing that you can speak Welsh at work! Riding the wave sounds perfectly fine! I only just started to realise what I want to do in life and I'm just turning 22! xx
