In The Hidden Gardens

So firstly I must apologies for the majority of these photos being ever so slightly out of focus, I stiiiill haven't quite grasped how to take a good photo when outdoors.. oh well I'll get there eventually!

Anyway, let me tell about the weekend. On Sunday me and my mum had a proper Mother-Daughter day, something we really don't do often enough anymore. With her working most weekends and me blogging and genuinely having my own life, we don't do actual things together as much. But, as my mum flew to Portugal with her partner, John, for the week (so jealous!) on Monday - Sunday she wanted a full day with me before she left.. fair enough! So we decided to give the Welsh Tourist Board a boost and visit a local Hidden Gardens.
These Gardens are literally 10 minutes down the road from my little village and is the most extraordinary place. You literally turn off the main road (with not even an inkling of anything) drive about a mile along a country lane and low and behold there are these beautiful gardens with a 1.5mile walk through a forest, eventually ending up by a gushing river.. amazing!

We walked and walked through these amazing scenes.. eventually tiring ourselves out. So what did we do? well of course stopped by the cute little cafĂ© for a Panini and coffee (and cake!) - I really have not done the place justice with these photos but it truly was a beautiful place.. I'll say it once and I'll say it again, people find happiness in drinking until they pass out, whilst I literally love nothing more than walking through beautiful gardens (or garden centres haha!) and having nice big coffee at the end - BLISS! (Lily will totally agree with me on that one!!!)
