The Christmas Tag | BLOGMAS DAY 7

~ The Christmas Tag ~

Back in November when I began thinking up ideas for this Blogmas thing, on more than one occasion I became a bit stuck with ideas. Because, if you hadn't noticed, I'm a bit of an in between blogger. I'm not necessary all about the Beauty (well, rarely about the beauty tbh!), I don't post about Fashion/ Outfit aaaaall the time and well Lifestyle cames in an out.. I generally blog about whatever's relevant in my life at that point. So, I began reading up previous Blogmas pieces by some serious KICKASS bloggers.. I came across Milk Bubble Tea's blog who most people know about - because let's face it, she's awesome. So, I took her questions from 2014 and decided I'll put my spin on things..

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
100%, My top 2 have to be Elf and The Polar Express. To be perfectly honest, need I explain why, they're literally classics that I've grown up watching and absolutely adore them. I think near enough everyone can quote Elf back as they watch it - my favourite quote being 'Buddy the Elf, What's Your Favourite Colour?' - LOVE IT. With Polar Express, the storyline is just so feel good and, well cute... I'm have to dig out the DVD and watch it soon, it's not Christmas in my house until I have!

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
PEOPLE OPEN THEIR PRESENTS CHRISTMAS EVE?? Seriously, whaaaaaat. I open mine 100% on Christmas morning.. usually the first thing I do. What is this sorcery of opening the day before!!!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Me and my mum have some pretty funny memories because we have a tendency to never have a Christmas dinner. So some years we've has like an Indian banquet at 3pm on Christmas day haha, she's no Nigella and I hate turkey so it always works for us!!

4. Favourite Festive Food?
MINT MATCHMAKERS. Those little twigs of goodness are devoured at this time of year, I actually think I get through about 3/4 boxes.. All I can say is the diet will *officially* start in January!

5. Favourite Christmas gift ?
I don't know about Christmas gifts for me because (as sad as it sounds) I'm at that age now were I can buy whatever I want throughout the year, so never want anything for Christmas - I've asked my mum for a few things but I'm really not fused haha! On the other hand though, I bloody love buying Christmas presents for other people, like as cheesy as it sounds I love the thought of my friends opening up my present and loving what I've bought them! Plus, I'm like an A star student in Retail Therapy so the shopping just comes naturally for me!

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
Hmmm, Christmas scent?! The many many candles we always have burning probably, especially the woody/ spice smelling ones.. they're so wintery, love love love.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Not any that completely spring to mind. Since a few years, a few weeks before Christmas, me, my mum and my grandma always go on a little shopping trip for the day - this seems to be a little tradition.. its always cute and lovely (we had a day out yesterday - that'll be in blog post tomorrow actually!)

8. What tops your tree?
A Star, I'm sure we've used the same cheap, plastic gold star, from god knows where every year since the existence of Christmas haha - aaaaand there's probably going to be now change this year!

9. As a Kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
Over the years I've probably asked for some STUPID things, like a dog.. If you ever met me in real life you'll know one of my fear is dogs. Well, not so much a fear, but I get very nervous around dogs I've never been around before (especially if they're relatively big) Yes, so a dog as a Christmas present would have been a wild one haha!

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
I love all the Christmas TV, all the Christmas specials - both old and new, I LOVE them all. I'll admit, over Christmas I love to slob about a bit and just have a bit of a chill, so add that all in with a bit of The Royale Family or Outnumbered, its just total perfection.
