Just PLAN!

~ Just PLAN! ~

I'm the kind of person who has to have some kind of idea what they are doing. Whether that be what I'll be having for lunch tomorrow of what I'll be doing at the weekend. Maybe I'm freakishly organised or just trying to stay positive. But really if I didn't plan things, I think I'd find it very difficult to stay sane. What I mean by that is, that if I didn't know what I was doing, let's say next weekend with today being Monday I have a whole working week ahead of me, so if I didn't even have an inclination of next weekends plans, how the hell will I get through the week?!
Ok ok, I'm not an uptight person by any stretch. But for me, I thrive off having something to look forward to. This be, like I said, a little plan of getting my nails done or a big trip abroad in a few months time. If I didn't plan things I'd find it very difficult to be the positive person I am...
For me, planning activities/ trips/ outings is my favourite thing in the world. I'm the girl that would quite happily volunteer to organise a holiday with a group of friends.. its one of my greatest pass times. What I am not is one of these people who doesn't see the point of doing anything. Yes I have weekends were my plans are minimal, but that is usually down to my friends being busy so I willingly take a chilled weekend with coffee and blogging as the activity. But more often than not, if someone asks if we want to plan a trip I'M IN.
Like take my less then wild life at the moment. I could quite happily have stayed in my lifeless job and spend the next 30 years in a position with no ladder climbing opportunities and nothing to show for it.. but the thought of something never changing bored me to my bones... so I applied for University. So now, I have a move to Surrey and the potential to live my best life planned. Yes, it sounds cheesy but this plan has genuinely given me light at the end of the tunnel.

Even small plans to get me through the next few months in said job, keep my positive. For every thought I get of 'Shit, I REALLY don't wanna get up early tomorrow' I think 'Well at least you have a day off in 2 weeks..' Whether it be a big elaborate plan like moving 5 hours away, from Wales to England or simply the plan of a shopping trip midweek.. I ALWAYS think its a good idea to plan things, because we are all guilty of feeling down sometimes but if we have an exciting trip to look forward to, its bound to pick you up, even if its only slightly.

  1. I'm an over-planner. If I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow, it makes me over-think and majority of the time I'll sit up all blooming night! Only to crash first thing in the morning. I'd love to get out of this rut and plan in a more positive way x

  3. I really love planning events to do, it makes me look forward to the future and also helps me have a fuller life if that makes sense. I know that if I don't organise anything I would spend my life in my room! xx
