Paint Splashed Nails

I'm no expert when it comes to painting my nails, let alone painting patterns and designs. Although today I found a loophole in making my nails stand out with very little effort. I simply painted a base of Essie 'Munchi Munchi' on each nail, letting them dry, then adding another layer. When dry, I took Rimmel Salon Pro 'Urban Purple' and drained the brush of nail polish, meaning the brush had very little polish on. Then dabbed the brush over my nails, taking the end of a tail comb and carving lines into the polish for added effect. To finish, I simply added a coat of clear nail polish and I was done!

Tom Ford Lip Colour Sheer

Here is another purchase from my trip to Manchester, Tom Ford Lip Colour Sheer in 08 Incorrigible. If I'm honest, just from the look of it alone I knew I had to have it! I'm a massive lipstick fan, therefore seeing this on the counter in Selfridges, I felt an overwhelming need to buy it. At £36 pound it was a little pricey for lipstick, but hey you have to treat yourself sometimes! The shade I bought is a very bright fuchsia, with a golden shimmer. When on the lips, I feel it is very moisturising, although it doesn't feel sticky or as if its going to fade. Personally, I love matte, bold lipsticks, therefore this gives my lipstick collection a bit of a variety.
I would show how it looks on my lips, although unfortunately I wasn't blessed with the skin complexion of Miranda Kerr, therefore acne insecurities make a picture never perfect or good enough *sigh*
