Exploring Space NK

So, a couple of weeks ago, whilst doing a little bit of shopping in Chester - my nearest 'city-with-a-decent-high-street' #JoysOfLivingInTheCountryside.. I ventured into Space NK for the first time. To be honest, if you'd have mention Space NK to be about a year or so ago I probably would have absolutely no idea what you were on about.. then I started reading blogs and watching Youtube.. damn you internet.
Anyway, after religiously watching/reading whatever Lily Pebbles and Vivianna Does Makeup say and do I went in and feel in love with everything. But, yano, money doesn't grow on trees so I only bought three things (my receipt almost made me cry)
The first was the By Terry Ombré Blackstar in Misty Rock. It's a pink shade with lots of glitter in, extremely similar to Toasted from the Naked 1 palette - a shade I raved about in Autumn last year. The formula is so creamy and you can basically do two swipes across the lid, boom your done! After a few weeks of basically wearing it everyday, I can give an honest opinion and tell you it's seriously a great item for you're make up bag!
Also, I bought an item by Kevyn Aucoin that I've seriously want for ages. I never got round to buying this because I never knew anywhere that stocked it and I never trust buying skin items online.. colour matching is always an essential! So when there, I was so happy to see they stocked the Sensual Skin Enhancer. It's basically a concealer/pigment, that can be used ever so slightly for blemishes etc. or mixed with face cream to create a tinted moisturiser. Personally, since buying it it has become my new favourite thing in the world, like its beat my Bobbi Brown corrector.. this stuff works miracles under my eyes. Because its so pigmented, I put the smallest amount under my eyes, and it covers everything.. my life is one step closer to being complete (know to just get rid of the acne.. lol)

The final was the Oribe Dry Texturing Spray, another item that's been raved about.. I was intrigued so yano I bought it ha! If I'm honest I have mixed feeling about this, having used it about 5 times by now. Positives: It's clear, so once it's sprayed on, there no evidence of any dry shampoo. The trick I've learnt to do with this product is to spray it on the roots, tip my head upside down and rub the dry shampoo into my hair. Also whilst my head/hair is upside down, I brush the roots; tip my head back to the correct elevation and I have so much volume and there is absolutely sign of dirty hair!
Negatives; the 'texture' you actually get from this product.. ew. Seriously, this is what makes me not be very impressed with it, because once you're done the above rubbing-it-into-the-roots routine, you're left with extremely chalky, dry, on the whole disgusting feeling hair. Usually, with normal dry shampoo I've used in the past, it only feel slightly chalky, but on the whole its fine. But with this, my hair feel thick and dry, and again feels like you have extreme product build up.. it actually made me want to just wash my hair after putting it in; not really the point is it.
So, on the whole, the negative kind of out ways the positive because this isn't exactly cheap, so a little disappointed, but I'm going to get my moneys worth and use it.. who knows I might get used to the texture after a few more uses, just at the moment its not the best feeling, boo.
