My Makeup Bag For... Everday

So, the last time I did one of these posts -  the somewhat stereotypical 'what's in my make up bag' type post was June 2014; a whole year and a bit ago. And, although that's probably not that long ago in hindsight, I felt my photography skills (if you could call it that!) and blog in general has developed a whole lot in a year and a bit of blogging. So, I thought, hell I think I need to do an update, because anyway, looking back on that post now, its mostly all different to 2014 - see, this is what's great about blogging - being able to look back on years gone by (because, lets face it, no one remembers these kinds of things anyway!)
For this post I thought I'd show what I use everyday, these are products that get the most use and are mainly use for a minimal/'I'm in a rush'/'today's not a heavy makeup day' look. The main parts of the face I concentrate on daily is the eyebrows and under the eyes. Rarely, will I wear foundation if its not a 'special occasion', even bb creams - I try and let my skin breath as often as possible; I'll do anything to keep acne at bay! For the eyebrows, 'Dark Horse' in the Naked palette, is the shade I basically use religiously. It does have a slight slight bit of glitter in it, but its never evident and I'm just so used to using it, that I'll be devastated when it runs out! (I can't really repurchase a whole palette for one shade (or can I;))) For my eyes, the MAC paint pot in 'Painterly' is a perfect match for my eyelid colour - it acts as either a primer or to just even out my eyelid colour; so simple. With a few coats of the LancĂ´me mascara (I loathe the mascara but getting my moneys worth!)
For under my eyes, I use two products; Bobbi Brown corrector in Extra Light Beige and the NARS creamy concealer in Vanilla. These are both amazing for dark circle, with the corrector being a few weeks away from finishing! - might need to repurchase this for a third time, very soon. On top I apply a few dots of the concealer to brighten and volia! that's my routine for an everyday, simple look - I do this pretty much in auto-pilot, but its a routine I love so yano, if it's not broken and all that...!

  1. I really need to try the Nars concealer! x

  2. You have such lovely makeup products! I rarely use foundation too, I like to let my skin breath and a you said I want to keep acne away from me so I think this is the best choice! I have to say your photos look amazing and I think you improved a lot in comparison to your post in 2014! Xx

  3. The Naked palette is such a classic :) I love the Bobbi Brown Corrector + Nars Concealer combo at the moment too xx
