So, its officially ok to wear a wolly hat out and no one bat an eyelid. Its now officially a must to wear wellies when on a walk through the woods, and its now officially the BEST TIME OF THE YEAR.
On Wednesday, I woke up bright and early (well, 9.15), threw on the thermals and took a walk through the woods near where I live. I went on my own and I have to say it was the most refreshing thing I've done in a long time (high five for independence!) Its strange, when you're out walking, you literally get a whole new lease of life, its literally like you realise that the things you're worrying about, are the most unimportant things ever. I really don't know why I don't go for long walks more often; living in the countryside is the most beautiful thing imaginable - not to sound too much like a 70's hippie but nature is really is so calming and beautiful!

I think what made me more happy once I was back in the warmth's of my house, was how autumnal it was, the leaves were brown, there was looks of shining dew on the grass. I had one of those sniffly, runny noses that's only a sign that its cold out and once I was back the cinnamon latté tasted even sweeter because it warmed me up and made me feel so content with life.
This may seem incredible cliché (but boy, do I like clichés ;)) as every one on social medium harp on about the joys of autumn - never knew a season other than winter could be so commercial! But, I genuinely loved seeing the beauty of the world. I always say I'd love to move to London or a city some day, but to be honest a country bumpkin like me wouldn't last five minutes.. HAHA

  1. I LOVE this post!! It made me wish that we had Autumn here where I live so so so much more. If I attempted to wear a wooly hat here on ANY day, people would stare.
