Leopards & Pink Flamingos

[Jumper: George of Asda | Jeans: Topshop | Shoes: ASOS]

~ Leopards & Pink Flamingos ~

As soon as the clock ticks over and autumn sets in, it takes me all the will in the world not to buy every single knitted jumper on the market.  I obviously have several sitting pretty in my wardrobe already, last years splurge of warm knits could very much have another few wears this time around, but there is just something so special about a new knitted jumper. Wrapping up warm, stretching it so to cover your cold hands, you must all know the picture I'm trying to paint, its really is magical...

The new jumper of this month is a little surprise purchase. Having wondered into Asda of all places with time to kill, I thought I'd have a quick look at their clothes. Besides, George of Asda is one of those places wear we all at one time in our lives have bought black strapped school shoes from. I spotted this burnt pink, ribbed jumper and despite it only being in a size 14 or 16, I thought it'd look fine a little oversized and it only being £14. Surprisingly the fitted is spot-on, if it'd have been any smaller (my usual size 10) it probably would have been too small - a little bargain is always a great thing isn't it!
Another new purchase in this post is the shoes, I mean THE SHOES. I've been in desperate need for some boots because I've actually had to throw my old comfies, they had very much had their day! The ASOS leopard flats are perfect for what I wanted as they're not too boring (heaven forbid) and don't have a chucky heel. Having worn them throughout Saturday, I feel they're going to need a little more breaking in (weirdly, the top front part of the shoes rubbed slightly) - but I'm determined for these to be OK to wear because I honestly love the pattern so much! Plus, my student card worked on ASOS so there was another 10% of this purchase.. when you have a discount it makes you feel less guilty for buying yet more clothes... or is that just me?!?! haha.

  2. I LOVE the jumper genuinely can't believe it's from asda haha! I'm such a clothes snob I wouldn't even think to look there but this has taught me wrong HAHA! Looking fabulous as always girly xxx

    1. Haha omg I know I'm literally such a brand snob! - like this must be my ONLY item of clothing from Asda! - a shhhh you're totally the fabulous one!! xxx

  3. I love wearing sweaters in Autumn and I need to go buy some more xx

  4. This is such a gorgeous look! It's great because it's not just black and burgundy which is what all I seem to be wearing is, but you've got a gorgeous dusty rose colour which I think really compliments this time of the year! I can't believe what a bargain it was as well! Your shoes are to absolutely die for, they are so cute and just add something a little unique to the outfit! xx
