Mirror Mirror We Meet Again..

~ Mirror Mirror We Meet Again.. ~

So I don't know if you remember a few weeks ago when I posted this outfit post, it was in a less conventional way to my usually corner, I took all the photos from, well, my mirror. Which, I'll admit is a little amateurish for the great scale of blogging nowadays, but I'm still a supremely novice-blogger compared to the utter #GIRLBOSSES that this community has.. so I continued and took the photos in my mirror and thought they turned out ok! This is the second instalment of 'Lisa poses in a mirror' which includes 2 new purchases; one being very sensible and one being, let's say not to everyone's taste.. weeeeell, everyone's style is different isn't it!

[Top: Zara | Skirt: Oliver Bonas]

So let's start with the ~less~ conventional piece of this outfit, the skirt. The skirt that not everyone would like to wear, the skirt that's very out there, the skirt that's.. metallic silver. I'll be honest, I spotted it in the Oliver Bonas sale and thought it was quite nice. I then went on to have a bottle of rosé wine and suddenly drunk Lisa thought she had to have it.. haha so really I have to thank my drunken self because I now LOVE this skirt! It is in a shiny vegan leather (which makes it an ethical purchase, am I right?! - yay if it is!) and comes just a few inches above my knee. I have to say, it fits beautifully, with the band at the top sitting perfectly around my waist. I've been on the hunt for a nice skirt for a while now and finally found my new go-to. I 100% am sure this is an all-year-round skirt too, silver in spring - perfect with blush pink, silver in summer - perfect with yellow or white and silver in winter (as it is now) - perfect with black! I do think I'll get my money's worth.

So, I paired my silver skirt with a black long sleeve cotton top. I purchased this is in the Zara sale last week when I was in Chester and it may just be my most sensible purchase to date. I stupidly never seem to buy plain things. You know, the plain things you kinda need. Like a plain white t-shirt, a pair of black jeans.. or a black cotton long-sleeve. Well, it was on sale in Zara for £6.00 so sensible Lisa finally made an appearance!
AND THERE WE GO! My latest outfit offering, I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I'll see ya all on Monday. Adios Amigas!
