Ski Slopes in South Kensington

So as stupid as the title is, it's as true as it suggests - we genuinely stumbled upon a wall in South Kensington covered with a Ski Slope scene. I couldn't tell you why it was there, but it seemed the perfect scene for a quick #OOTD shoot when I was out wondering London with my uni friends. The area is always a delight for the eyes and the fact I finally got an outfit photo of my new (ish by now) dusky pick corduroy trousers, it was actually a great way to spend a Wednesday.. because we all know what colour we wear on Wednesdays, right?!

Jumper: & Other Stories (similar) | Trousers: Zara | Shoes: ASOS | Bag: Olive Clothing (old)

Now despite my awkward posing (will I ever not look awkward? probably not!) I'm so glad I finally got some kind of outfit shot of these trousers. I bought them about a month ago now and have featured them in my 'Autumn Outfits of the Week' post a few weeks back. But despite this, I feel you don't get the ~real~ feel for them unless you see them on.. they were a little big when I first bought them, but have since sewn them in at the sides and they now fit like a glove. With the high waist they have, I wore my very old & Other Stories jumper, which is cut with a big oval - complimenting the front zip of the trousers. With these I had a small bag from Olive and my ever loved, ever comfy ASOS animal print shoes.

On the whole, this outfit is perfect for me for winter. Being a warm blooded person, I can usually have my ankles out and not have to worry of a chill.. simply carrying an umbrella incase it rains is fine for me! - Anyway, here's a few snaps from yesterday. Me and my friends decided to have a wonder around London as we seem to always want to do.. 40 minutes into Victoria? Its too convenient not to!   We had lunch and came home just as it was going dark. I have to say, being a fresher at university you really do live your best life, I feel like despite deadlines and workloads, it never really feels a stressful.. I'll be laughing at myself when shit gets real in second year. But for now, we are gladly taking the time to wonder 'round Kensington taking outfit photos.. and why the hell not!
