Snippets of... Easter at Home

// S N I P P E T S  O F .. E A S T E R  A T  H O M E \\

And so, as I spend my final few days at home of my Easter Break, before returning to university; I thought now would be a good time to write up a little 'snippets' post of all the great thing I've done over the past couple of weeks. It's been a lovely fortnight at home, yes albeit a little boring, but nonetheless absolutely lovely to catch up with my mum, family and handful of friends. It's actually been a fortnight of eating out a lot (and I don't mean the cheap Weatherspoons breakfast I'm so used to at uni!) as well as lovely day trips and well overdue catchups with school friends I haven't seen probably far too long. As I type this, I feel lucky to have all this when I return home, but my god am I looking forward to having the independent uni life back (& seeing my uni friends!) but for the time being, here's a few Easter snippets of my time back home on Anglesey!

During the last week and a half, me and my mum have seemed to cram in absolutely tones of things together - we've definitely made up for not seeing each other for 3 months. Last week we had a lovely Spa Day, in The Quay (Conwy, not too far from Anglesey!) having full body massages and facials, I even had the lady doing my massage tell me my legs were very toned - that actual made my day haha.  As well as this, we've had lovely meals out as well as an Easter Sunday drinking gin and catching up some more.

As well as this, I managed to catch my friends for coffee and a meal out. With my friends, mainly now all being in their third year (where I'd have been now if I'd have gone to uni straight from sixth form) their lives are a whole lot more stressful and busy, compared to mine, so cramming in an hour to see them has been so lovely. It's actually quite exciting for me now, as my friends start to graduate, to see what they do next. I'm fortunate that this is another 2 years away for me, so that stressful situation is comfortable at the back of my mind, but for them I'm so looking forward to see what the do next!

And so that's my little snippets post of my week at home, as I depart back to Surrey for my final month of first year. It's quite shocking really how quickly my first year at university has gone. It literally feels like yesterday I was excitedly typing that I was leaving, now I'm typing that its nearly over! Time really does fly when you're having fun...
